Pang Kee, nestled in the heart of Kampung Kuala Dioh, Kuala Pilah, is a restaurant that has begun to garner attention for its unique offerings. Customers like John Tan rave about their signature dish, the 'sui yee', making the long drive from Kuala Lumpur worthwhile. The friendly service from the lady boss adds a personal touch, enhancing the dining experience.

While reviews are mixed, there’s a consensus on the quality of the food. Eve Tan highlights the braised softshell turtle in a claypot, noting its deliciousness, albeit at a higher price point. The coconut drink also received praise for its sweet and refreshing taste. However, some guests found the atmosphere less comfortable and the noodles, particularly the wonton variety, rather ordinary.

Overall, Pang Kee presents a blend of traditional flavors and hospitality that invites exploration. If you're adventurous enough to try dishes like the water turtle, Pang Kee could be a gastronomic journey worth taking. However, it’s wise to keep in mind that personal preferences vary, as indicated by mixed reviews on the ambiance and pricing.

The braised softshell turtle in claypot was yummy though a bit costly. The softshell turtle meat in soup tasted ok.
